Game 16: Lewes 3.0 Margate (Isthmian Premier) 26.10.13
The first of three Lewes goals on a windy Sussex afternoon. This early shot flew over the keeper to give Lewes a halftime lead. This was made easier by Margate’s no 6, who received a straight red card for a raised elbow that connected with a home player. Lewes extended their lead in the first minute of the second half when a cross from the right was converted at close range and scored a similar effort from a left sided cross with ten minutes to go.
